Kentro is hiring a People Technology Analyst to support our Corporate People Services team. The People Technology Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration, optimization, and operational execution of HR technology platforms, workforce data management, reporting, and employee system support activities. This role serves as a key resource for UKG Pro and related HR systems, partnering closely with HR Operations, HRBPs, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Finance, IT, managers, employees, and external vendors to ensure HR technology solutions are administered accurately, efficiently, and effectively.

The People Technology Analyst supports day-to-day HRIS operations, reporting and analytics, system enhancements, testing activities, and process improvement initiatives while helping maintain data integrity and a positive employee experience. This role is expected to provide responsive system support, contribute to HR technology optimization efforts, support workforce reporting needs, and serve as a trusted resource for HR technology-related processes and best practices.

Location: Hybrid in the DMV area.

Responsibilities

HRIS Administration & Employee Data Support
  • Support administration and ongoing maintenance of UKG Pro and related HR technology platforms.
  • Maintain employee data integrity through audits, validations, reconciliation activities, and system monitoring.
  • Assist with configuration of workflows, business processes, organizational structures, security roles, and system settings.
  • Perform day-to-day HRIS operations, including employee data updates, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Respond to HR technology support requests and assist users with system navigation and functionality.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, process guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support HR technology compliance, security, audit readiness, and data governance activities.

Reporting, Analytics & Workforce Data Management
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics.
  • Support reporting needs related to headcount, turnover, onboarding, recruiting, compliance, and workforce trends.
  • Conduct data validation and quality reviews to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Research reporting discrepancies and partner with stakeholders to resolve data issues.
  • Support compliance reporting requirements including EEO-1, VETS-4212, ACA, and audit-related requests.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to support workforce reporting and analytics needs.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of dashboards and self-service reporting tools.
  • Support reporting needs related to headcount, turnover, onboarding, recruiting, compliance, benefits, and workforce trends.
  • Conduct data validation and quality reviews to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Research reporting discrepancies and partner with stakeholders to resolve data issues.
  • Support compliance reporting requirements including EEO-1, VETS-4212, ACA, and audit-related requests.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to support workforce reporting and analytics needs.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of dashboards and self-service reporting tools.

HR Technology Optimization & Project Support
  • Support system upgrades, releases, testing cycles, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and validation activities.
  • Assist with gathering business requirements and documenting enhancement requests.
  • Support implementation of HR technology enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, system utilization, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on employee experience, process effectiveness, and data quality.

Cross Functional Partnership & User Support
  • Partner closely with HR Operations leadership, HRBPs, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, Communications, managers, and external vendors to support operational consistency and employee support effectiveness.
  • Provide timely and professional support to employees, managers, and HR stakeholders regarding HR system functionality and processes.
  • Assist with development of training materials, user guides, communications, and knowledge resources related to HR technology.
  • Support adoption of new system functionality and process changes through training and user support.
  • Contribute to process standardization, documentation, and knowledge-sharing efforts across People Services functions.
  • Provide operational recommendations regarding HR technology improvements, reporting capabilities, and service delivery enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting HR Operations, HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, Workforce Analytics, or related business functions.
  • Experience working with business systems, databases, reporting tools, or HR technology platforms.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to support employees and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with UKG Pro or another HRIS platform.
  • Exposure to HR reporting, workforce analytics, or data management.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with HR, payroll, benefits, recruiting, or employee lifecycle processes.
