Job Description
Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).
Essential Duties include:
• Utilize the lab management server to deploy, configure, and teardown varying system baselines across lab equipment to support testing and scanning
• Develop, maintain, and execute Ansible playbooks and scripting (Bash, Python) to automate routing cybersecurity tasks, configuration deployments, and STIG remediation
• Execute recurring vulnerability scanning (ACAS/Nessus) across legacy environments and modern, virtualized architectures
• Mange Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) data, including scan uploads and asset tracking
• Conduct automated and manual STIG reviews, generating and maintaining comprehensive files
• Enforce and validate STIG compliance across VMware vSphere/ESXi hypervisors and vCenter Server Appliances (VSCA)
• Verify patch deployment and compliance using WSUS for Windows environments and YUM for Linus appliances
• Provide input and gather objective technical evidence from the lab environment to support RMF A&A artifact generation
• Draft, maintain, and update laboratory SOPs, Ansible playbooks, and scanning execution guides to reflect the current lab architecture
Education, Credentials, and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Technologies, or related technology-focused discipline from an accredited college/university
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DoD cybersecurity, system administration, and lab environment provisioning
• DoD 8570.01-M compliant certification at the IAM Level I or IAT Level II required
• Secret Clearance required.
Required Knowledge and Abilities:
• Strong proficiency with Ansible, Bash, and/or Python for infrastructure-as-code and automation
• Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) and Windows Server
• Proficient with VMware vSphere/ESXi and containerized environments
• Experience with legacy networking routing/switching hardware (Cisco IOS) and modern Software Defined Networking (SDN) architectures (Arista EOS) hosted on Crystal Group servers.
The primary location for performance of the work will be on-site in Newport, RI with limited travel within the continental United States.
