POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior .NET Developer (Supporting) provides application-layer depth across the mid-tier TMS modules that the Senior .NET Full-Stack Developer (Position 5) cannot fully cover at 17,000 hours per year: Outdoor Advertising (ODA), Safety Management System, Traffic Management System, Right-of-Way systems, Striping Inventory, and Electronic Permitting. This individual reduces single-point-of-failure risk on the most code-intensive modules and provides surge capacity for SOW programming. This position is not submitted as an Exhibit E biography but is committed to supporting the contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Own break/fix resolution and preventive maintenance for ODA (Billboard, Junkyard, Permit Invoicing), Safety Management System (MoCARS, Crash Browser, monthly batch processes), Traffic Management System (AADT, FMS interface, Work Zone hourly volume), Striping Inventory, and RoW applications
· Perform monthly safety batch processes: accident conversion process, Travelway Maintenance-related accident data integrity checks; annual Statewide Accident Rates, Expected Values, and Statistics Manual batches
· Execute annual Traffic AADT projections batch; maintain FMS utility-cost interface for Traffic Signals, Flashers, and Lighting
· Maintain Electronic Permitting applications (ElectronicPermitting, ElectronicPermittingExternal) and RoW 1099 IRS Tax Processing: produce and export annual 1099 data files for the Office of Administration
· Support ODA year-end processes, monthly SQL data resets, Crystal Report correspondence templates, media loaders, and customer invoicing/mass-mailing applications
· Enter time in Service Desk Plus at end of each week; resolve assigned tickets within agreed timeframes
· Participate in code walkthroughs per MoDOT Best Practices as requested; follow all MoDOT coding standards
· Contribute to impact analysis documentation for changes affecting ODA, Safety, Traffic, or RoW data dependencies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 3 years of .NET application development experience (C#, ASP.NET MVC or Webforms)
· Minimum 1 year of experience with Webforms and/or MVC web development in a .NET environment
· Minimum 1 year of experience with REST/SOAP APIs or Web Services
· Experience with Oracle database in a .NET application context
· Ability to pass MoDOT background check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 1 year of experience with transportation-related applications
· Experience with Crystal Reports embedded in .NET applications
· Experience with batch/scheduled processing in a .NET + Oracle environment
· Missouri residency or St. Louis metro area location
