You will be the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer level 2 for the Specialty Engineering team which is responsible for developing and validating electromagnetic and RF requirements across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics programs.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited university.
• Experience with magnetic principles and concepts.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with the EMI hardening process at the platform level.
• Ability to adapt and apply EMI test concepts at a platform level.
• Experience with MATLAB and CATIA.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Participate in cross-functional working groups and trade studies to assess electromagnetic impacts on system architecture.
- Integrate developmental and deployable hardware, ensuring electromagnetic and RF considerations are incorporated early in the design cycle.
- Provide technical expertise on electrical wiring design, avionics hardware, and mitigation strategies for electromagnetic interference.
- Document verification results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders to support decision-making.
