Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting continuous monitoring of facility, utility, or production operations; evaluating alerts and system data to maintain stable conditions; executing emergency management procedures to ensure safe/secure operations.

This position is part of the Navy Nuclear Deterrent Mission.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter. A negative drug test result must be received by HR within 30 calendar days after the EOD (i.e., start date). The selectee's inability to successfully pass; or refusal to conduct the test may result in: 1) the tentative or final job offer being withdrawn during the recruitment process; or 2) subsequently being removed from Federal service for failure to meet a condition of employment. - You will plan and coordinate the requirements for the movement of ordnance items.
- You will support the Production Officer in the execution of duties related to the movement, control, and accountability of ordnance, and serve as the Nuclear Emergency Team (NET) Commander.
- You will monitor the movement of weapons and maintain continuous contact with essential personnel in the movement convoy, while analyzing and plotting the location and movement of the weapons.
- You will prepare various documents, records, and reports to demonstrate compliance with technical procedures, control regulations and requirements during movements.
- You will be responsible for taking immediate action in emergency type situations such as weapons accident/incidents, foul weather, incoming explosive shipments, explosive or crane mishaps, and personnel casualties.
- You will perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, which includes the following: maintaining the computerized Command Log to document the activities of the command to include all/any significant events.
- You will utilize Strategic Programs external reporting systems which allows Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) field activities to report movement of Accountable Items to SSP and other stakeholders.
- You will provide operational support by coordinating activities across multiple departments, monitoring and interpreting security system data, and managing gate access for Fire and Emergency Services to ensure uninterrupted mission execution.
