Logistician

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics planning and sustainment support for model and simulation programs and associated training systems.
• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to support logistics execution across the system lifecycle.
• Assist with the development, review, and maintenance of logistics documentation, plans, and supporting records.
• Support supply, transportation, inventory, accountability, and equipment coordination activities as required by the program.
• Track logistics actions, identify supportability issues, and help resolve gaps affecting delivery, fielding, sustainment, or operational readiness.
• Support analysis of logistics requirements and provide recommendations to improve program execution and sustainment effectiveness.
• Participate in reviews, assessments, and coordination meetings related to program logistics , sustainment, and lifecycle support.
• Help ensure logistics activities, deliverables, and support actions remain aligned with government requirements and program objectives .

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent applicable experience.
• 5+ years of experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience providing logistics , sustainment, or lifecycle support for government or defense-related programs.
• Knowledge of logistics planning, inventory/accountability practices, supply support, and documentation management.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including government organizations, contractors, and vendors.
• Experience supporting program execution, sustainment planning, and logistics issue resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, documentation, and recommendations.
• Ability to work independently while supporting geographically dispersed teams and mission partners.
• Familiarity with Air National Guard, Air Force, or DoD logistics and training system environments is preferred.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. - USD $127,744/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
