Job Description:
Evaluates and processes a wide range of complex union-related requests and tickets, ensuring adherence to collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), seniority rules, and union policies. Serves as a subject-matter resource for union transactions, audits, and escalations across HR systems (Workday and related tools). Assists team members in fact finding for internal/external HR audits. Coordinates requests with business partners to perform large volume transactions referring to established practice and policies. Updates HR system error queries to audit transaction activity for errors using established work procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyzes and appropriately responds to basic and moderately complex customer requests using ServiceNow, Workday, and PeopleSoft Payroll (HRMS)
Work closely with Labor Relations, Union Representatives, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and Compensation to ensure consistent interpretation and application of CBA terms.
Interfaces directly with customers via electronic, written or verbal communication to respond to HR data inquires
Leverages knowledge of Workday business processes, business acumen and critical thinking to perform daily work
Interprets and explains HR business processes, policies and procedures to customer inquiries
Supports flexible hours in order to satisfy customer needs when necessary
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with Workday Human Resources Management System (HRMS)
1+ Working with Labor relations or in a Unionized Environment
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and processes within a unionized environment, including interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).
Working with Labor Relations/ in a Unionized Environment
1+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
