[About the Role] Join a high-impact team as an Aircraft Electrician I (Electronics Technician Maintenance I) in Crestview, FL, supporting electrical systems on C-130J aircraft. This hands-on position is ideal for professionals passionate about aerospace innovation and precise technical work. [Responsibilities] - Install, route, terminate, and test various aircraft electrical cables and harnesses, including Fiber Optic, 1553 Data Bus, RF, Twinax, Triax, Quadrax, and Ethernet. - Remove and install aircraft components as required for modification and maintenance. - Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. - Utilize hand tools, power tools, work stands, and calibrated test equipment safely and efficiently. - Comprehend and apply maintenance instructions, safety protocols, and procedure manuals. - Maintain a clean, FOD-free, and safe work area; properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials. - Perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, crawling, and lifting up to 25 pounds. [Required Skills and Experience] - Minimum two years of aircraft electrical experience in fields such as Avionics, Communications/Navigations, Electronic Warfare, or Electro/Environmental. - Proficiency in wire/harness fabrication, routing, installation, and testing on aircraft. - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical data. - Equivalent to USAF 5-Level (Journeyman) certification or comparable experience. - Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance. [Preferred Skills] - Experience with avionics/electrical systems wire routing and installation. - Background in military or commercial aircraft modification and wire harness procedures. - Strong aptitude for interpreting installation drawings and performing multiple termination processes. - Familiarity with C-130J aircraft. - Active Secret Security Clearance.
