Job Description

USGI is seeking a Project Manager to serve as the single point of contact for all contractor activities supporting the Executive Programs Management Unit (EPMU). This position oversees service delivery, ensures compliance with contract requirements, and provides leadership to a high ‑ performing team supporting acquisition, financial, and program management functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all contractor project activities, ensuring timely, high ‑ quality deliverables.
  • Maintain master plans, schedules, risk tracking, and milestone management.
  • Coordinate with COR, Federal Team Leads, and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, HSAR, and internal quality standards.
  • Draft reports, oversee documentation, and support CPARS.
  • Provide expert guidance in acquisition lifecycle management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of federal program management experience
  • Knowledge of acquisition lifecycle and major systems acquisitions
  • Proficiency in Excel and tracking tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Federal Acquisition process knowledge/experience
  • Understanding of the Federal acquisition lifecycle from inception of need to contract/program/project completion
  • Strong understanding of Program/Project Management, especially as it relates to the Federal Government. (Demonstrated by either holding a Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC)-Program (P)/Program Managers (PM) Certification, or experience with major systems acquisitions)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret, apply, or create acquisition and program/project management procedures, rules, policy, regulations and guides
  • Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with senior Federal personnel
  • Ability to read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations to all activities described in this PWS
  • Contracting Management experience preferred
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification
