Job Description

USGI is seeking a Business Operations Specialist/Acquisition Specialist to provide expert support across the complete acquisition lifecycle, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and supporting documentation development.

Responsibilities

  • Support SOWs, IGCEs, market research, milestone management.
  • Maintain acquisition files and audit readiness.
  • Develop templates, process improvements, and analysis.
  • Support contract closeout, evaluation plans, and QASP.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • FAC‑C Level III or 5 years of federal acquisition experience
  • Knowledge of FAR, HSAR, RFO, and federal sourcing vehicles
  • Strong analytical and writing skills
  • Obtained a Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certification
  • A Common Understanding of the Competencies in the Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Strong data analytical and research skills
  • Ability to read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations to all activities described in this PWS
