SAIC is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to join our team at Adelphi, MD
The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research and collaborating with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs; advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements; designs and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Job Responsibilities:
- Leads the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions to optimize IT service management processes.
- Leads the development of custom applications, workflows, and integrations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and ITIL standards.
- Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades, and maintaining
platform security. - Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure seamless functionality.
- With deep expertise in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow best practices, drive continuous improvement and innovation, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree + Ten (10+) years of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- ITIL v4 certification
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with JavaScript, Rest APIs and ServiceNow
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
