Work you'll do

As a PROJECT - Security Engineer III on the Cyber Defense & Resilience team, you will be responsible for...

• Supporting cyber operations through participation in operational planning teams, working groups, intelligence planning meetings, and cross-functional response efforts
• Analyzing cyber directives, operational activities, and network threats to assess potential mission impact and support stakeholder decision-making
• Synthesizing intelligence from multiple sources and preparing reports, briefings, and presentations on cyber threats, risks, and defensive priorities
• Responding to requests for information, providing situational awareness to leadership, and recommending updates to threat posture and task prioritization based on evolving intelligence
• Reviewing assigned information technology system plans, updating intelligence annexes, and helping train client personnel to identify and document intelligence gaps

Our Cyber Defense & Resilience offering assists clients in defending against advanced threats by transforming security operations, monitoring technology, data analytics, and threat intelligence. Helps manage and protect dynamic attack surfaces and provides rapid crisis and cyber incident response, ensuring clients can be ready for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance and
• Local to Colorado Springs, CO and able to come onsite 5 days a week.
• 5+ years of experience in cyber threat analysis
• 3+ years of experience using intelligence methods, frameworks, and standards to research threat actors and analyze tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• 5+ years of experience developing and using cyber threat intelligence (CTI) products, platforms, and technologies
• Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Prior experience with space mission systems
• Cybersecurity certifications

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,600 to $159,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
