Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows and/or Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage and support networking infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate system processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations and deployments.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure systems comply with security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in system administration
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows and/or Linux)
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Active Secret Clearance
- Security+
Compensation to include:
- Salary : $80,000 - $95,000 *based on experience*
- Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if Required by Law
