The Systems Engineer will work with a team of developers, QA, DevOps and system engineers to provide SDLC support for the GATEKEEPER product. The Systems Engineer will assist the building and managing GATEKEEPER product installations for DoD customers.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 15 years.
- Analyze user requirements, the concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyze system requirements and leads design and development activities.
- Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches and conducts feasibility studies.
- Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develop technical documentation.
- Develop system Architecture and system design documentation.
- Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- I nteract with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
- Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
- Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Support the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), collaborating with development and QA teams to assist with
- System testing, validation, and performance tuning in support of production readiness
- Ensure system compliance with security best practices and organizational standards
- Soft Skills: excellent oral and written communication skills-Able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts
- Knowledge of ICAM Capabilities and Integration
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, testers, and product owners to align system behavior with business and technical requirements
- Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
- Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies and platforms
- AWS Foundational Level Certification
- RDS and relational database experience in the cloud
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- RDBMS experience (tuning, migration, optimization)
- Docker expertise, familiarity with Kubernetes a bonus
- Terraform, CloudFormation (CDK)
