You may qualify at the NH03Broadband Level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below and must meet 2 of the 3 specialized experience listed below to be qualified:
In addition to meeting qualifications, your application package must reflect the applicable experience to meet the Individual Occupational Requirements for the 0130, series as listed below:Degree: major or equivalent, or a combination of courses totaling at least 24 semester hours, in international law and international relations, political science, economics, history, sociology, geography, social or cultural anthropology, law, statistics, or in the humanities; or 12 semester hours in one of the above disciplines and 12 semester hours in statistics/quantitative methods.
OR Combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major, or a combination of related courses totaling at least 24 semester hours, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
OR Experience: four years of appropriate experience in one or more of the fields listed above in work associated with international organizations, problems, or other aspects of foreign affairs. NOTE: Failure to provide transcripts will result in you being rated ineligible for this position. All materials must be submitted by the closing date of the announcement.

- Formulates recommendations and suggested language for agreements, negotiating strategies, and policy statements to protect and ensure BMDS interests.
- Researches and analyzes political, military, and technical data, information, and issues required to support effective MDA political-military and arms controls activities, including conducting special studies to address the implications of export control laws, treaties, and advances in new and emerging technologies.
- Assists in the development of programmatic and technical material required for position papers, reports, briefings, testimony, and Congressional inquiries, including the development of correspondence and the presentation of overview briefings on political-military and arms control issues and related activities. - Establishes and maintains liaison and coordination with counterparts at both internal and external organizations on political-military and arms control issues.
- Prepares material on critical and sensitive issues for meetings with DoD Policy and Acquisition staff.

- Experience with international defense politics, technology transfer, and export control regulations, with a strong ability to build consensus and influence key stakeholders across interagency and allied
partners. - Experience with the functions of DoD and the Department of State as they relate to and affect organizational goals and corresponding ability to communicate orally and in writing, including the ability to prepare complex material addressed to higher authority.
