  • Implement web security best practices, including TLS configuration, server hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation, in partnership with security teams.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, connectivity diagrams, runbooks, and inventories for web servers, sites, applications, and integrations to support governance and audits.
  • Monitor web platform performance and availability, analyze usage and trend data, and lead tuning and capacity-planning activities.
  • Support collaboration and content platforms such as SharePoint or similar, including configuration, upgrades, and integration with authentication and storage services.
  • Coordinate resolution of complex web issues spanning DNS, firewalls, application code, and middleware, acting as the primary escalation contact for operations and development teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience managing and maintaining web services, including planning, installing, configuring, and optimizing web servers and applications.
  • Proven hands-on experience administering IIS, Apache, and Tomcat (or similar) on both Windows and Unix platforms in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience leading or supervising technical staff, including assigning work and mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong understanding of web security concepts, SSL/TLS certificate management, and related compliance requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation; U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting web platforms in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for web application deployment and configuration changes.
  • Experience with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, web analytics tooling, and accessibility/508 compliance.
  • Prior experience leading complex troubleshooting efforts across infrastructure, network, and application layers.
