Job Description

Duties

  • You will oversee all Wing and four assigned Squadron Supply funds expenditures and manage property inventory.
  • You will act as Approving Official and/or Certifying Officer for purchase card holders and Aviation Inter-Plane Reimbursement (Air) Card Agency Program Coordinator (APC).
  • You will oversee and supervises the four assigned Squadron Supply Technician, GS-2005-05 and reports directly to the CTW-4 Finance Analyst Supervisor, GS-0501-09.
  • You will use a thorough knowledge of supply regulations and policies to perform a wide variety of complex assignments related to maintaining specialized property accounts and records.
  • You will prepare property survey requests, conducts extensive research on requested items (researching mandatory sources, gathering multiple bids IAW applicable laws and directives) checking for accuracy and validity.
  • You will determine when to requisition and the quantities required based on directed input from customers and usage patterns and trends.
  • You will perform assignments independently with little or no supervision required. In specific cases, employee uses own judgment in making minor decision/deviations to adapt to required guidelines.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing supply ordering, record keeping, and distribution in support of aviation programs and making recommendations to ensure proper safety rules and regulation compliance.

Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

One full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled;

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
