Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify badges, credentials, and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report discrepancies or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Support access control, incident reporting, and after-hours site coverage while following Allied Universal post orders, client-specific expectations, and local regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
