PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer, in Stratford, CT. Job ID#218622
Pay Rate: $63/hr
Job Description:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Basic Qualifications
1. Relevant Engineering or Technical Background - 6+years of experience in any combination of Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering, Procurement, Production Operations, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related disciplines.
2. Cost-Modeling Software Proficiency - Demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex cost-modeling tools such as SEER or TruePlanning
3. CAD & Engineering Drawing Literacy - Ability to interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
4. Microsoft Office Suite Mastery - Advanced use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
5. Data-Driven Decision Making - experience conducting data analysis and making recommendations
