Location: Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, NE
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required (Top Secret/SCI upgrade available)
Schedule: Full-Time | 100% Onsite | Flexible Hours
Program: Global Strike and Product Support 2 (GSPS2)
Build Mission-Critical Software Supporting National Security
TEKsystems is seeking Software Engineers to support a high-impact program delivering mission-critical applications for the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). This opportunity offers the chance to work in an Agile/DevSecOps environment developing cutting-edge web-based mission systems that directly support Intelligence, Global Strike, and Nuclear Planning operations.

What You'll Do:
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack Java-based web applications
Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams in a fast-paced DevSecOps environment
Develop and consume RESTful web services and APIs
Build scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions
Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and automation efforts
Support software testing, code reviews, and continuous integration activities
Work directly with technical leadership, program managers, and government stakeholders
Contribute to architecture, requirements analysis, and software design discussions
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance (ability to obtain TS/SCI)
Experience developing Java/JEE applications
Strong understanding of Java development best practices and design patterns
Experience with:
Spring Boot
JavaScript
CI/CD pipelines
DevOps practices
RESTful Web Services
JSON/XML
Experience working in Agile development environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following:
Ext JS, React, Angular, or Vue.js
HTML and CSS
Eclipse IDE
Jenkins
Git/GitLab
Gradle
JUnit
Selenium
JIRA
Additional experience in any of the following areas is highly valued:
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Scrum or XP methodologies
