ServiceNow Developer (Secret Clearance) – Mission-Critical DoD Modernization

Locations: Fort Meade, MD | Scott AFB, IL | Hill AFB, UT
Work Schedule: Full-Time Onsite | Hybrid Options Available
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Preferred (Clearance Sponsorship Available for Qualified Local Candidates)

Support One of the Largest ServiceNow Modernization Efforts in the Department of Defense!

We're seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support a major modernization initiative for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). In this role, you'll help transform the systems and processes that enable secure communications, information sharing, and network operations across the Department of Defense.

This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations that directly support national security missions and global military operations.

What You'll Do:
As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions that support critical operational teams.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and workflows
- Supporting ITSM processes including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Knowledge Management
- Building and maintaining Service Catalog items and automation workflows
- Enhancing CMDB and Discovery capabilities
- Developing dashboards, reports, and operational metrics
- Integrating ServiceNow with enterprise tools and platforms
- Supporting telecommunications and network inventory management initiatives
- Participating in agile development activities and modernization efforts
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and government stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
- Supporting platform upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship
Active Secret Clearance preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance if sponsorship is required
Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 14 days of start (if not already held)
3+ years of ServiceNow development experience
Experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules
Experience supporting or administering CMDB environments
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Security+ certification
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Experience with:
CMDB
Discovery
Service Catalog
Flow Designer
Integrations


Familiarity with:

OMT (Order Management Telecommunications)
TNI (Telecommunications Network Inventory)
TSOM/Telecommunications Service Operations Management


Experience supporting DoD or federal government environments
Understanding of Agile development methodologies
Experience with Jira, Git, Confluence, DevOps, or CI/CD practices
