Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) operations in Orlando, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a secure, fast-paced environment supporting enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity initiatives, and lab operations while collaborating with engineering and cyber leadership.

As a Systems Administrator you will:
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server environments supporting mission-critical systems.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, firmware, and enterprise applications.
Configure user accounts, permissions, group policies, and system access controls.
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and perform hardware and software troubleshooting.
Maintain server configurations in compliance with DISA STIGs and cybersecurity best practices.
Support vulnerability management activities using ACAS and other DoD security tools.
Perform system hardening, patch management, and configuration management.
Support VMware virtual infrastructure including ESXi and vSphere environments.
Provide Tier I, II, and III technical support through the enterprise help desk.
Assist with lab operations and provide technical support during scheduled testing events.
Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Engineering teams to implement secure, reliable infrastructure solutions.
Maintain centralized logging solutions such as Splunk (or similar technologies).
Support system documentation, change management, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Security Clearance
3–5 years of Systems Administration experience
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.)
Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent experience considered)
Must be local to the Orlando, FL area
Must be willing to work onsite full-time
