- You will serve as a Tomahawk Cruise Missile Planning Analyst in the Training, Standardization and Evaluation Department (N7) Cruise Missile Support Activity, Atlantic (CMSA LANT), located in the Naval Support Activity, Norfolk, VA.
- You will independently conduct target analysis, aim point development, and weapons effect calculations (weaponizing) for the five new variants of advanced TLAM and HSW missions.
- You will produce highly precise and accurately mensurated products used in advanced TLAM and HSW mission planning to ensure a high probability of success can be achieved for both types of weapons and missions.
- You will use subjective analysis to produce a variety of photogrammetric products.
- You will provide technical expertise to support Program Management Activity (PMA) weapon system development efforts.
- You will serve the Naval Aviation Warfare Development Center (NAWDC) as a direct representative ensuring policies and procedures set forth in the Navy's TCM program are adhered to and executed within the guidelines.
- You will interpret combatant commander requirements.
- You will provide advanced technical TLAM and HSW system targeting inputs to Joint Staff targeting and geo positioning publications.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Must be eligible for, and maintain eligibility for, a final TOP SECRET clearance for access to Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP).
- Execution of an SCI Non-Disclosure Agreement, successful polygraph examinations are required on a recurring basis. The position is considered CRITICAL SENSITIVE, will be required to participate in the DON Drug-Free Workplace Program.
- Light loads of papers, books, reports and other reference materials needing only moderate physical ability and stress may be required.
- Position is a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) with no windows, and no Wi-Fi or cell phone service, but is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated.
- This position requires rotating shift work.
- This position requires evening and weekend work.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Mission must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions, IAW DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience performing a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices pertaining to Tomahawk Land to Air Missile (TLAM) and Hypersonic Weapons (HSW) system targeting, weaponeering, geopositioning, distribution and execution processes and procedures and of weapon systems complimentary to TLAM and HSW sufficient to effectively develop hypotheses, theories, collaborate, integrate, adapt, influence and significantly impact the operational plans and strategic policy decisions supporting POTUS, SECDEF, and the supported Joint Task Force or Geographic Combatant Commanders.
- Experience analyzing kinetic damage mechanisms of the TLAM and HSW warheads sufficient to apply and evaluate and address established, as well as theoretical risk to current and projected operational areas of interest. Decisions are made that significantly influence the weaponeering planning models. Assessments will be presented to operational staff for their consideration in developing appropriate course of action options.
- Experience examining current and future designs of Tomahawk Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) Architecture related to navigation and geospatial data processes associated with TLAM and HSW planning necessary to analyze and integrate current and evolving GEOINT and Multi-Int technologies and solutions into the mission planning process as well as the weapon systems configuration management roadmap.
- Experience providing enterprise navigation, imagery, and geospatial data systems, and understanding of complex data technologies and related computer architectures supporting TLAM and HSW mission planning sufficient to meet or exceed command mission planning production goals, as well as to mitigate external systems and services support upgrades and outages.
- Experience serving principal authority and technical expert regarding plans, programs, and policies as they relate to Navigation, Imagery, and Geospatial Requirements and Planning; navigation route planning data, geospatial, and multi-intelligence support data and acquisition systems matters; and emerging geospatial technologies directly supporting TLAM and HSW mission planning.
- Experience serving principal authority and technical expert regarding plans, programs, and policies as they relate to Navigation, Imagery, and Geospatial Requirements and Planning; navigation route planning data, geospatial, and multi-intelligence support data and acquisition systems matters; and emerging geospatial technologies directly supporting TLAM and HSW mission planning.
