We are seeking highly experienced Senior Program/Project Management Analysts to support a major Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Management Activity (PMA). This position serves as a senior advisor and subject matter expert supporting Government leadership in the planning, execution, management, and oversight of complex acquisition and sustainment programs.
The successful candidate will work directly with Program Managers, Deputy Program Managers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, senior military personnel, and industry partners to provide strategic program management, acquisition, financial, and operational support throughout the program lifecycle.
This position requires an experienced professional capable of independently managing complex assignments, providing recommendations to senior leadership, and coordinating efforts across multiple organizations and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work directly with Program Managers, Deputy Program Managers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, senior military personnel, and industry partners to provide strategic program management, acquisition, financial, and operational support throughout the program lifecycle.
This position requires an experienced professional capable of independently managing complex assignments, providing recommendations to senior leadership, and coordinating efforts across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level program management support for complex acquisition and sustainment programs.
- Advise Government leadership on program execution, schedule performance, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Develop and review executive briefings, acquisition documentation, reports, white papers, and decision-support materials.
- Lead coordination efforts across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), functional organizations, and external stakeholders.
- Analyze program performance, identify risks and issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support budget planning, financial execution, spend plan development, and program forecasting activities.
- Manage action items, taskers, milestones, and program deliverables across multiple projects.
- Support acquisition strategy development and lifecycle planning activities.
- Lead preparation and execution of program reviews, technical reviews, milestone events, and leadership briefings.
- Coordinate responses to senior leadership inquiries, audits, inspections, and data calls.
- Mentor junior and journeyman personnel while supporting workforce development and knowledge transfer initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among Government, military, and contractor personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Public Administration, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of professional experience supporting Department of Defense, Federal Government, aerospace, aviation, or defense acquisition programs.
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior Government leadership and managing complex programmatic efforts.
- Experience with acquisition lifecycle management, program planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Experience preparing and presenting executive-level briefings and recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting NAVAIR, Naval Aviation, PEO, SYSCOM, or major acquisition programs.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and governance processes.
- Experience supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and cross-functional program organizations.
- Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, or other program management tools.
- DAWIA certification in Program Management, Business Financial Management, or Acquisition Logistics.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Prior military service or experience supporting military aviation programs.
