Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facilities Operations Analyst for a contract opportunity in Fort Bragg, NC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must have at least an active secret clearance. Will start the process to obtain a TS at the start of contract
- Ability to work in confined underground environments.
- Ability to travel to various R&D and training sites.
- Experience in welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair, basic carpentry and construction practices.
- Background in reinforced concrete construction and quality control and safety.
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for blast doors.
- General automotive and equipment repair capability.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate reinforced concrete structures and assess construction materials, layouts, and specialized training doors.
- Interpret engineering drawings and assist engineers with structural assessments.
- Support construction of heavily reinforced concrete walls and confined-space facilities.
- Maintain tunnel safety certification (40 hours) and operate safely in underground confined spaces.
- Fabricate, weld, install, repair, and maintain metal and prefabricated blast doors, locking mechanisms, and related systems.
- Operate and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of training and blast doors.
- Oversee construction, installation, and removal of structural panels and blast components.
- Document construction processes, timelines, and material requirements.
- Reconstruct heavily damaged blast doors following testing and training events.
- Perform facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural repair, and range upkeep.
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment including vehicles, forklifts, generators, and small-engine systems.
- Provide oversight and training to junior personnel and interns.
