What You Will Be Doing
Execute the Systems and Software Quality Engineering (SSQE) mission to ensure program compliance with documented processes that satisfy both customer and company requirements and enable the delivery of high-quality software. Working with limited supervision, the incumbent will:
Conduct process, product, and, when applicable, supplier quality evaluations and external audits.
Perform test verification/validation and oversee software development lifecycle activities for PAC-3 and Advanced Program contracts.
Apply quality-science techniques to identify, communicate, and resolve deficiencies in software development processes.
Support metrics collection, reporting, scheduling, and preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for task assignments.
Develop and implement standardized software quality procedures, engineering methods, and related tools.
The role requires willingness to travel and the flexibility to work off-shift or weekends as needed.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher
• Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain a security clearance
• Understanding of Software and Test Equipment Processes.
• Experience in Requirements, Design, Code and Proof & Validation (P&V) Testing.
• Knowledge of causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues
• Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel (LM sites, suppliers, testing sites, etc.)
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours such as weekend support or after 5pm.
• Ability to be on-call when need to support program milestones.
Desired Skills:
• ASQ CSQE (Certified Software Quality Engineer)
• ASQ CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate)
• Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems/models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulation
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Certified
• Experience with Software Suppliers support of test stations.
• Experience with Government customers (DoD programs).
• In-depth knowledge of software C++/C programming language.
• Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
