Product Security Engineer Level 3 Indotronix | Maryland Heights, MO | Secret Clearance Required About the Role Join Indotronix as a Product Security Engineer Level 3 and take a lead role in shaping the cybersecurity landscape for advanced products across their entire lifecycle. You will champion security from concept through deployment and beyond, driving compliance, risk management, and innovative solutions in high-stakes defense and aerospace environments. Work onsite in Maryland Heights, MO, with travel opportunities up to 30% to support global customers. Responsibilities - Lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of robust product security and resiliency measures across all lifecycle stages. - Spearhead the creation and enhancement of system security architectures to meet both customer and certification standards. - Safeguard facilities, equipment, networks, data, and resources used throughout product development and operations. - Define, manage, and communicate security requirements for suppliers and subsystem partners. - Coordinate with customers, suppliers, government agencies, and industry collaborators to assess risks and elevate security standards. - Drive cybersecurity R&D initiatives, delivering innovative solutions to complex security challenges. - Advise customers on product security, certifications, and security impacts of system modifications. - Support all cybersecurity compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement efforts to maintain best-in-class security posture. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. - 6-9 years of relevant experience in product security engineering or a closely related field. - Active U.S. Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI. - Experienced in installing, configuring, maintaining, and administering Microsoft Windows operating systems. - Proficient in PowerShell, Batch, and Bash scripting. - Proven track record designing and implementing cybersecurity controls, processes, and procedures. - Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international). - Meets DoD 8140 Program Foundational qualifications. Preferred Skills - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration expertise. - Experience with highly available virtualization environments and Storage Area Networks (SAN). - Familiarity with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and compliance reviews. - Background supporting cybersecurity in defense, aerospace, or government sectors.
