PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Estimating & Pricing Specialist 2 to join our dynamic team in Renton, WA. This hybrid role supports both estimating and pricing functions, contributing across the full program lifecycle-from design and build through aftermarket support.
You will play a key role in developing cost estimates, pricing strategies, and business analyses that support competitive and compliant proposals.

About the Role
PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Estimating & Pricing Specialist 2 to join our dynamic team in Renton, WA. This hybrid role supports both estimating and pricing functions, contributing across the full program lifecycle-from design and build through aftermarket support.
You will play a key role in developing cost estimates, pricing strategies, and business analyses that support competitive and compliant proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and validate cost estimates and pricing data
- Evaluate Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and assemble pricing proposals
- Support estimating and pricing activities across program lifecycle stages
- Build and maintain pricing models and structured data systems
- Perform financial, risk, and competitive analyses to support decision-making
- Develop and apply estimating rates, factors, and methodologies
- Maintain program databases and ensure data integrity
- Support compliance initiatives, including policy development and training
- Collaborate across estimating and pricing teams to support shared objectives
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of related experience in estimating, pricing, finance, or similar field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Solid communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience working in defense, aerospace, or government contracting
- Familiarity with pricing models and financial analysis tools
- Knowledge of estimating methodologies and proposal development
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Estimating and pricing analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week
- Flexible start time between 5:30 AM - 8:00 AM
- Standard 8-hour workday
