Position Overview The public and restricted JDEIS websites carry joint doctrine and education content to a wide user base. The Senior Web Developer maintains and updates JDEIS web capabilities while meeting DoDM 8140.03 cybersecurity requirements. The role keeps the JEL, JEL+, and related sites current, accessible, and secure for their communities. Essential Job Function

- Maintain and update JDEIS web applications, including the JEL and JEL+.
- Develop and deploy web content and features in compliance with federal and DoD standards.
- Apply cybersecurity controls and continuous monitoring to web systems.
- Support validation testing, acceptance, and installation of patches and updates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited university; or CNSSI 4011 Information System Security (INFOSEC) Professional; or 6 years of experience.
- Training and Certification (DoDM 8140.03): IAT Level 1 (A+, Network+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security); IAM Level 1 (CAP, GSLC, or Security+ CE); Cyber Defense (CEH, GCIA, CSIH, or GCIH); and an OS/CE certificate for applicable systems with privileged access.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Security Clearance: Top Secret (per Staffing Plan).
- Prior web development for DoD or federal sites meeting Section 508 accessibility.
- Experience with NIPRNet and SIPRNet web hosting environments.
