Summary:
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation including user guides, reference manuals, and training materials.
• Create requirements documents, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate closely with system, software, and test engineers.
• Utilize Confluence for documentation management.
• Leverage a background in cybersecurity to support defense initiatives.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $214k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documentation, including user guides, reference manuals, training materials, requirements documents, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Design and implement document templates to streamline documentation processes.
• Manage and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, optimize workflows, and support knowledge management initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, system and software engineers, test engineers, and analysts to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize Confluence for documentation creation and management.
• Possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Bring 7+ years of experience as a Technical Writer.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Experience or background in cybersecurity is beneficial.
