Job Description
TEKsystems is currently in need of a Secret or higher cleared Sr VMware Consultant for a direct hire. This consultant will work onsite at one of multiple Government customers in support of VMware VCF suite of product deployments across the US. The team will consist of 6 team members, working alongside a Architect and Staff Consultant to deploy and optimize VCF at each site. The consultant will go onsite, analyze the environment and work with the team to come up with a plan for the customer to best utilize their new VCF environment. If consultants are not near a customer base that can support onsite work, travel expenses will be provided to get there on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:
- Secret clearance (or higher) and IAT Level II certification.
- Ability to work onsite at U.S. Army bases.
- Experience (ideally 4+ years) deploying VMware VCF OR the seperate product suites (Nsxt, vSAN, vSphere, vAutomation, Aria, etc..)
- The ability to obtain VCF certification in the first 3 months.
Additional Information:
This is a role that can sit ANYWHERE in the US. Travel will be on-site at U.S. Army bases for 1-2 weeks every 6 weeks. The rest of the time will be worked remotely.
