Overview
We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer who combines strong technical skills, hands-on coding
expertise, and product ownership to assist with the development of an Agentic AI Metahuman
platform deployed in secure, public-sector environments.
This role is ideal for someone who can assist with architecture and maintaining secure, scalable
cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, and thrive in a fast-moving, B2B release
environment. You will work closely with product, security, and stakeholders to deliver compliant,
scalable, and mission-critical AI systems.
Responsibilities
Technical Skills & Hands-On Development
● Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
(GCP)
● Automate deployment pipelines for frequent B2B SaaS releases
● Define and enforce infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi)
● Own CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response systems
● Ensure system availability, performance, and compliance with uptime and data security
standards
● Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and performance
, ● Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing speed, quality, and compliance
Team Management & Execution
● Collaborate with engineering teams to support rapid product iteration at scale
● Run Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, standups, retrospectives)
● Assign work, unblock engineers, and ensure steady delivery
● Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
Product Ownership & Delivery
● Help define and refine product requirements and technical specifications
● Help maintain delivery artifacts such as:
○ Sprint plans and reports
○ Architecture and design documentation
○ Production readiness and post-release reports
● Track progress and communicate clearly with stakeholders
Security, Compliance & Public Sector Readiness
● Ensure systems meet public sector security and compliance requirements
● Support or lead compliance audits (e.g. FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
● Implement security best practices across services, data pipelines, and AI endpoints
● Build systems with security-by-design principles
Required Qualifications
● 7+ years of DevOps or cloud infrastructure experience
● 2+ years in a technical or engineering management role
● Active CBP (Customs and Border Protection) Security Clearance Required
● Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — IAM, GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub,
Firestore, etc.
● Strong proficiency in IaC (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and container orchestration (e.g.,
Kubernetes)
● Proven experience supporting secure, high-availability systems in production
● Familiarity with secrets management, identity and access controls, network
segmentation, and VPCs
● Strong background in CI/CD for rapid B2B product releases (GitHub Actions, GitLab,
etc.)
● Solid grounding in infrastructure security and compliance frameworks
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with US federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53)
● Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure (LLM inference, TTS/STT APIs, GPU orchestration)
● Experience supporting real-time systems, streaming pipelines, or interactive avatars
● Background in incident response and SOC processes
