Manufacturing and Construction Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing and Construction Manager to support a company focused on advancing national security through innovative engineering, manufacturing, and defense technologies. This position is on-site in Orlando, FL. The Manufacturing and Construction Manager will lead complex, large-scale design, integration, and construction projects while ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across all phases. Responsibilities for the Manufacturing and Construction Manager include:

• Provide direction and oversight for complex, long-term design, integration, and construction projects
• Review designs for manufacturability and ensure alignment with project specifications and standards
• Develop and manage integration and construction schedules, resource planning, and equipment allocation
• Oversee contractor performance, including review and approval of plans and on-site supervision
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and local authorities from project planning through final delivery and reporting to senior leadership

Required Qualifications for the Manufacturing and Construction Manager include:

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction engineering and operations
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor) and knowledge of SAE/ASME Y14.1 and Y14.5 (GD&T)
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, manufacturing processes, and construction methods
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, or Production/Operations Management
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance
