AFSIM Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an AFSIM Developer to support a company focused on advanced defense modeling and simulation solutions for U.S. Navy programs. This position is on-site at Crane, IN. The AFSIM Developer will design, develop, and integrate simulation capabilities within the AFSIM framework to support multi-domain operations and mission-level analysis. Responsibilities for the AFSIM Developer include:

• Develop, customize, and integrate models within the AFSIM framework
• Design and implement simulation capabilities using Python, C/C++, and MATLAB
• Build and maintain threat models, flight path models, and Electronic Warfare (EW) effects
• Perform model integration, testing, validation, and verification (V&V) activities
• Collaborate with Navy warfare centers, national labs, and industry partners to deliver advanced solutions

Required Qualifications for the AFSIM Developer include:

• 3+ years of experience in modeling & simulation, software development, or systems engineering
• Proficiency with Python, C/C++, MATLAB, and M&S tools such as AFSIM, STK, NGTS, or Builder
• Experience with model integration, validation, verification, and testing processes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain higher-level access (TS/SCI preferred) and Security+ CE (or equivalent)
