Seeking candidates to fill the position of F-35 Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE) Technical Lead.
The Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE) Technical Lead for the F-35 Global Sustainment Organization will provide direct support to the Pilot Fit Facility Logistics Manager and Pilot Flight Equipment Program Management team for all technical related concerns related to F-35 pilot flight equipment. The PFE Technical Lead should have the knowledge and skills required to be considered the PFE subject matter expert and serve as an enterprise level technical resource able to provide technical advice and troubleshooting on a broad range of PFE related concerns.
Additionally, the PFE technical lead will be responsible for site activation support for future Pilot Fit Facilities, talent development and training events, data management and internal process document standardization. The PFE technical lead must be able to provide engineering support for all pilot locker management related activities. The PFE technical lead will collaborate with the PFE Equipment Manager and Items Analysts to meet organizational goals and deadlines. Travel will be required as the mission dictates for JSAM sizing, site activation, training events and coverage for on-site customer requirements.
Additionally, the candidate selected for this role will be expected to be familiar with the full spectrum of F-35 PFE product line, current operational processes and procedures for field operations sites as well as PFE sustainment operations with the Global Sustainment PFE integrated product team. 25% travel to different work sites or events should be anticipated.

Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10 years of F-35 Pilot Flight Equipment experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise-wide F-35 Pilot Flight Equipment processe
• Established track record of meeting or exceeding department performance goals
• Experience developing presentations to brief stakeholders and decision makers
• Ability to work independently on large scale projects and drive team towards organizational goals
• Candidate must have a Secret security clearance, active within the past two years, or have the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance prior to first start date, obtaining final Secret clearance within 1 year of hire date.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field
• Experience using engineering drawings and technical data in JTD
• An in-depth working knowledge of Autonomic Logistic Information System
• Inventory control and supply chain logistics experience
• Customer service skills for internal and external customers
• Demonstrated knowledge of Pilot Fit Facility operations
• Military flight-line ALSS / PFE / AFE / PR maintenance experience
• Prior experience in conducting OJT for F-35 PFE maintenance actions
• PFE data management experience
• Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards
