Lockheed Martin "Ahead of Ready" Defending against modern-day missile threats requires constant collaboration and innovation. The Lockheed Martin Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) team is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. In this role, you will:
• Coordinate with the Control Account Manager and Planning to track weekly IMS burndown for the team.
• Support the Control Account Manager by developing a weekly schedule status report in support the weekly schedule review board process.
• Support the Control Account Manager by developing monthly earned value cost accounting reports and deliverables in support of the monthly program performance management battle rhythm.
• Support Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and baseline change assessments (cost and schedule) as required by contractual directives and the engineering change request process.
A Secret security clearance is required for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Cost Account Management (CAM)
• Experience coordinating across functional and programmatic boundaries
• Experience working with a variety engineering disciplines
• Active Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
Desired skills:
• Development of Key Performance Indicators, metric management, data dashboards using Tableau or similar
• Experience with working with an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and creating/executing IMS tasks.
• Familiarity with all phases of the development life cycle for missile and/or launch vehicle programs and supporting production of missile, launch vehicle, spacecraft, or aircraft hardware
• Experience collaborating with internal and external customers and executive leadership
• Basic understanding of systems thinking techniques
• Program/Project Management experience with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical and programmatic issues to peers, leadership, and customers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
