Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Littleton, CO! By joining the Lockheed Martin Space Radio Frequency (RF) Talent Center (RFTC) team, you will contribute our mission supporting challenging programs related to Space Vehicles, Hypersonics, Human Space Flight and Interplanetary Missions, Missile Defense, and more.

In this engineering role within LM Space, you will:

- Support the Global Security portfolio of programs by supporting payload analysis tool development on world class RF Payloads across various stages in each program's lifecycle.

- Engage in system requirements flow-down to test and verify mission performance.

- Lead troubleshooting anomaly resolution.

- Work closely with other RF Engineers, Box and Sub-systems CPEs, leaders, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure a given program within Global Securities is successful.

- Partner with customers and program leadership to ensure the success of payload products and milestones.

- Demonstrate subject matter expertise on payload analysis tools and mission execution.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience developing software using the

Python, C# and/or C++ programming

languages.

• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Experience with Linux and Windows

Security Clearance / Work Authorization:

• To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen.

• Prior to starting employment, selected candidates will be required to possess Top Secret clearance. For this position, applicants must possess a currently Active Top Secret security clearance to be considered.

• Selected candidates will be required to obtain, and maintain, Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (i.e. TS/SCI) for long term employment on this program

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an

accredited college/university in Computer

Science, Computer Engineering, Computer

Information Systems, Electrical Engineering,

Mathematics or related discipline.

• Experience working independently with limited

direction to complete assigned tasks.

• Experience collaborating effectively with a

team of users and other software developers.

• Strong computer network troubleshooting skills

• Experience with software tools to perform

version control (git, svn), peer reviews (code

collaborator), code comparison (beyond

compare), and bug/issue reporting (Jira).

• Experience with object-oriented software

design and design patterns.

• Experience with software IDEs such as Visual

Studio, Eclipse, etc.

• Knowledge of RF characterization parameters

• Experience in writing software or firmware for

devices like microcontrollers, FPGAs, etc.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 - $164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
