THE WORK

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Equipment Support Specialist to safeguard the integrity and availability of our test instrumentation. The incumbent will oversee custodial responsibilities, coordinate calibration cycles and repairs, and maintain comprehensive dashboards that monitor test-station health and utilization. In addition, the specialist will drive the acquisition of specialized test equipment by obtaining competitive quotes, preparing purchase requests, and managing Purchasing Card (P-Card) transactions in line with corporate governance.

Responsibilities include:

Equipment Custody & Maintenance

• Maintain accurate inventory records; perform regular checks, cleaning, and proper storage of test equipment.

• Liaise with calibration labs and service providers to schedule timely calibrations and repairs; document all activities.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Build and sustain test-station tracking dashboards (using Power BI, Excel, or similar) that reflect real-time status, downtime, and performance metrics.

• Contribute to technology transformation and efficiency projects, identifying opportunities for process automation and cost reduction.

Procurement & Administration

• Conduct market research for new test-equipment materials, collect vendor quotations, evaluate options, and process purchase requisitions.

• Administer P-Card usage, perform monthly reconciliations, and ensure compliance with audit standards.

• Support cross-functional teams by training users on equipment best practices and dashboard navigation.

You are a technically proficient professional with a strong background in calibration coordination and procurement who excels at using data visualization to drive operational efficiency. Your analytical mindset and collaborative approach enable you to maintain high standards of equipment readiness across functional teams.

A level 2 employee is an early professional. For this role we are looking for someone with around 3+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Physics, or a related discipline, or comparable experience.

• Experience in test equipment custodial support, calibration coordination, or related technical support functions.

• Strong competency with data-visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel.

• Proven procurement experience, including vendor quotation analysis and P-Card management.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills; ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
