Location: San Antonio, TX - Onsite
Salary Range: $100/hr to $110/hr on W2
Contract Duration : 6+ months with possibility to extension
Introduction
Join our team as a Senior Blankets and Monuments Shipside Support Engineer, specializing in VC-25B Interiors Development. We are looking for an experienced professional to provide oversight and direction in developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system design. This role involves leading the development, maintenance, and modification of structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools. The position requires working closely with various engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in aircraft shipside support and blankets design.
- Proficiency in shipside support, blankets design and discrepancy disposition, and factory shipside support.
- Familiarity with aerospace defense platforms and VIP modifications.
- Flexibility with factory demands, including alternate shifts as needed.
- Active secret clearance required.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Catia, Enovia, and IVT for design and drawing revisions.
- Subject Matter Expert in Insulation Design.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide design and shipside engineering services for military platform insulation designs, aircraft monument designs, change orders, and drawing revisions.
- Serve as a shipside subject matter expert in insulation design.
- Perform work in a controlled area, including climbing scaffolding and working inside a platform for shipside support.
