Location: Huntsville, AL - Onsite

Salary Range: $40 to $45/hr on W2

Contract Duration : 6+ months with possibility to extension

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nondestructive Evaluation Technical Analyst to join our engineering team. This role involves supporting space, commercial, and defense air vehicle programs, providing supplier standup/certification, fabrication support, troubleshooting, and fleet support activities. The position is based in Huntsville, AL, and involves working with a team that also operates in Oklahoma City, OK, and St. Louis, MO.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of computer-aided design tools and systems (e.g., CAD/CAM, CATIA, Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics)
• Prior work experience in aerospace, defense, or related industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in NDE/NDT engineering in a regulated industry
• Experience with nondestructive evaluation processes (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection)
• ASNT Level 2 in multiple nondestructive evaluation processes
• Experience working in multi-discipline teams
• Active / Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance preferred but not required

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Apply nondestructive evaluation methods to perform complex analysis and evaluation of parts, materials, processes, technology, or equipment
• Lead and conduct complex analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures
• Generate test plans, identify and categorize failures, determine root cause, and document results and recommendations
• Support audits, root cause analyses, and failure investigations as a subject matter expert
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
