Location: Huntsville, AL - Onsite
Salary Range: $40 to $45/hr on W2
Contract Duration : 6+ months with possibility to extension

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of computer-aided design tools and systems (e.g., CAD/CAM, CATIA, Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics)
- Prior work experience in aerospace, defense, or related industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in NDE/NDT engineering in a regulated industry
- Experience with nondestructive evaluation processes (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection)
- ASNT Level 2 in multiple nondestructive evaluation processes
- Experience working in multi-discipline teams
- Active / Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance preferred but not required
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Apply nondestructive evaluation methods to perform complex analysis and evaluation of parts, materials, processes, technology, or equipment
- Lead and conduct complex analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures
- Generate test plans, identify and categorize failures, determine root cause, and document results and recommendations
- Support audits, root cause analyses, and failure investigations as a subject matter expert
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
