Your resume must demonstrate at least 6 months of general experience and 6 months of specialized experience in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience is defined as:(l) Any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position, or (2) experience that provided a familiarity with the subject matter or processes of the broad subject area of the occupation. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Examining identification cards to ensure patrons are authorized users; 2) Issuing, receives, and/or controls cash and receipts; 3) Resolving minor problems and/or complaints of employees.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of meeting general and specialize experience you may meet minimum qualifications as follows:Successful completion of 2 years of study that included at least 12 semester hours in courses related to recreation (e.g., basic psychology, group dynamics, physical education, arts and crafts, etc.).orEquivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience are also qualifying. If education is used to meet specialized experience requirements, then such education must include courses directly related to the work of the position. (When crediting education, prorate the number of hours of related courses required as a proportion of the total education to be used.)

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

- You will provide a variety of information about and responds to questions from customers regarding base and local recreation and tour programs, facilities, activities and scheduled events.
- You will contact and schedule customer reservations for use of various recreational tours, programs or facilities.
- You will assist the customers with reservations, and check in/out procedures for recreational lodging.
- You will advise customers on the use of cottages.
- You will issue and receive keys and supplies for patrons.
- You will report customers maintenance condition/status to supervisor.
