Chipton-Ross is seeking a Tooling Engineer 1 for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking for an Engineer Tool 1 to support our Tool Design department. As a member of the Tool Design department, you'll be responsible for the designs of assembly and fabrication tooling.
Responsibilities
Designs industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
REQUIRED EDUCATION
WORK HOURS
Full-Time 9/80 workweek. This position will serve on-site at our El Segundo facility.
MISCELLANEOUS

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM related field with experience in engineering, design, tooling, fabrication, or manufacturing/production environment and 2-3 years experience.
- Experience utilizing Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or applicable 3D CAD systems.
- Experience in project management.
- Ability to Read/understand blueprints/GD&T in accordance with ASME 14.5.
- Ability to work in a high pace environment.
- Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

- Experience with Aerospace Tooling.
- 1 year of Experience working with SAP.
- Experience standing up production assembly line or cost center.

- Bachelor of Science in a STEM related field is required.
- School must be accredited.
