Job Description
T he Building Automation Lead is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Building Automation Systems (BAS) that regulate facility HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems. Ensures BAS operates efficiently and reliably to optimize comfort and energy consumption across DOS facilities.
BAS Implementation & Maintenance:
• Install, calibrate, and maintain BAS components and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BAS system issues promptly. Technical Oversight:
• Analyze and optimize BAS performance.
• Provide manufacturer-specific expertise and maintain certifications. Resource & Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with other trades and departments to optimize system integration.
• Maintain system documentation and training records. Working Conditions:
• Work in technical, office, and field facility environments. Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work at computer stations and within mechanical/electrical rooms.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Must be manufacturer-trained and possess training certificates for installed BAS.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, lighting, and energy management integration
