Job Description
The Operations Manager oversees the contractor's labor force and deploys resources-tools, materials, and parts-to ensure all contract requirements for comprehensive facility support (CFS) are met. This role manages day-to-day O&M activities for large facilities, coordinating staff and resources to ensure efficient, safe, and quality service delivery.
Resource and Labor Management:
• Direct, schedule, and dispatch staff and resources to meet contract requirements.
• Authorize use of materials, manpower, and equipment. Service Delivery Oversight:
• Ensure contract and task order compliance through active supervision and reporting.
• Identify and address operational challenges proactively. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Interface with client representatives to ensure consistent and responsive service.
• Implement best practices and organizational improvements. Working Conditions:
• Mix of office and field work; may require overtime or emergency response. Physical Requirements: Able to move around large facilities as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Secret Clearance required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent training/certification in O&M or Facilities Management.
• Minimum fifteen (15) years' experience in related O&M support services and/or Facilities Management.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in large facility/operations support.
