Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a highly experienced Test & Evaluation Analytics SME to support the Test and Analysis Group. This individual will provide senior technical, analytical, and test leadership support for Government and military customers conducting developmental, operational, live, virtual, and constructive test activities.
The selected candidate will serve as a senior technical lead at the intersection of test engineering, data analytics, software tool development, and customer decision support. This role will lead the end-to-end analysis of complex test data across planning, live event execution, post-test evaluation, visualization, and final reporting to support high-consequence acquisition, fielding, and operational decisions.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience supporting defense test events in range, laboratory, and program office environments; developing analytical methodologies and software tools; mentoring junior analysts and engineers; and translating complex technical results into clear, actionable recommendations for Government stakeholders. The candidate must be comfortable operating in fast-paced, mission-focused environments and communicating effectively with both technical teams and senior decision-makers.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the collection, cataloging, reduction, analysis, and interpretation of data from developmental, operational, and special test events.
- Serve as a senior analytics and test event SME for Government and military customers.
- Develop test data analysis strategies, data analysis plans, scoring methodologies, and reporting approaches.
- Generate technical reports, briefings, data products, and executive-level recommendations based on test event results.
- Support live test events by operating, troubleshooting, and interpreting real-time display, visualization, and analysis tools.
- Develop, modify, and maintain software tools to improve data processing, analysis automation, visualization, and reporting.
- Provide on-site technical support at test ranges, laboratories, and customer locations.
- Conduct root cause analysis, anomaly investigation, performance assessment, and post-test technical evaluation.
- Support test planning activities, including test design, data requirements definition, instrumentation planning, and analysis workflow development.
- Coordinate with engineers, test directors, data analysts, software developers, range personnel, and Government stakeholders.
- Mentor junior analysts and engineers in test data analysis, technical reporting, and customer communication.
- Communicate complex technical findings to senior technical, programmatic, and military leadership.
- Adapt analytical approaches to dynamic customer requirements, evolving test objectives, and changing operational conditions.
- Travel up to 25% for test events, technical meetings, and customer support activities.
Required Experience and Skills
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in test and evaluation, data analytics, engineering analysis, military systems, or related technical fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, or another relevant STEM field.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing data from defense, aerospace, aviation, range, training, or military test events.
- Experience developing analysis tools or scripts using Python, C#, C++, MATLAB, SQL, or similar technical languages.
- Strong understanding of test data collection, reduction, scoring, visualization, and reporting.
- Ability to support live test events in fast-paced, field, range, or laboratory environments.
- Ability to convert complex technical data into clear findings, recommendations, and decision-quality products.
- Strong analytical, inference, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across multi-disciplinary technical teams.
- Ability to brief technical findings to Government customers, program leadership, and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to travel for extended-duration test events as assigned.
Desired Experience and Skills
- 20+ years of experience supporting DoD test and evaluation, aviation systems, missile defense, aircraft survivability, electronic warfare, countermeasure systems, directed energy, radar, or sensor-based systems.
- Experience leading data analysis efforts for developmental test, operational test, flight test, range test, hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, or modeling and simulation events.
- Experience supporting Army, Navy, Air Force, MDA, DOT&E, ATEC, TRMC, or other DoD test organizations.
- Experience with Python, C#, C++, SQL, MATLAB, R, Bash, or Linux-based analysis environments.
- Experience with visualization, simulation, or test integration tools such as SIMDIS, TENA, telemetry tools, or range data systems.
- Experience with source management repositories such as Git, GitLab, GitHub, Apache Subversion, BitBucket, or similar.
- Experience developing software or analysis tools for Linux platforms.
- Basic understanding of networking, distributed test architectures, instrumentation, telemetry, and data management.
- Experience with video processing, sensor data, telemetry data, flight test data, or time-correlated multi-source data.
- Experience with Design of Experiments, statistical analysis, data quality assessment, and performance evaluation.
- Experience with cloud-based analytics environments, AWS, Azure, AI/ML-enabled workflows, or automated data processing pipelines.
- Experience preparing technical briefings, test reports, data analysis plans, and customer-facing decision support products.
- Active security clearance preferred.
