Job Description
TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will play a key role in designing, building, and securing complex network environments that support warfighters and intelligence operations. The work here will directly impact mission readiness by ensuring critical communications systems operate securely and reliably worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
- Lead complex network engineering and integration efforts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues.
- Maintain network performance, availability, and security.
- Support INFOSEC/COMSEC requirements.
- Develop network architecture and documentation.
- Interface with government stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 12 years OR Master’s + 10 years experience
- Active TS/SCI (or active Top-Secret with ability to get an SCI processed)
- Strong network design and engineering experience
Required Certifications:
- IAT II (DoD 8570/8140) – Security+ or equivalent
- CCNA required at start
- CCNP within 180 days (preferred day one)
