Job Description
Markon is seeking a Business Solutions Architect to support an Intelligence Community customer by aligning business strategy, technology investments, and enterprise solutions with mission objectives. This role provides strategic and technical leadership across products, services, and systems to ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and deliver long-term enterprise value. The role works closely with business leaders, engineers, and stakeholders to develop solution roadmaps, evaluate emerging requirements, and drive architectural decisions that support organizational growth and mission success.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's products, services, systems, and technical landscape
- Align technology investments, requirements, and solution architectures with business strategy and mission objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, modernization, and integration
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps that support mission priorities and long-term organizational goals
- Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and sustainable
- Gather and evaluate metrics to measure ROI, identify trends, and forecast future capability needs
- Provide technical and business leadership across multiple initiatives and programs
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Support the integration of products, services, and systems to deliver cohesive enterprise solutions
- Balance competing priorities and advocate for solution strategies that support enterprise goals and mission outcomes
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related field
- 15+ years of professional experience in business architecture, solution architecture, systems engineering, technology strategy, or related disciplines
- 5+ years of onsite customer support experience within a Government or Intelligence Community environment
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps, business transformation initiatives, and enterprise solutions
- Experience aligning business requirements with technical solutions and organizational objectives
- Strong understanding of system integration, solution architecture, and technology lifecycle management
- Experience evaluating technology investments and measuring business and operational value
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across diverse technical and business teams
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community modernization and transformation initiatives
- Experience with cloud technologies, digital transformation, or enterprise integration efforts
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DoDAF, or similar methodologies
- Experience supporting strategic planning, governance, and investment review processes
