Job Description

Duties

  • You will manage Tomahawk Strike Network (TSN) in the MDS system for worldwide TLAM operations.
  • You will maintain proficiency at dynamic and time sensitive targeting Tomahawk Tactical Processing System to facilitate TSN Tactical Tomahawk capabilities.
  • You will coordinate plans and schedules with other organization managers and customers as appropriate.
  • You will balance workload and provide advice, guidance, and direction on a wide range of technical and administrative issues.
  • You will plan, organize, and direct the activities of the TLAM and HSW MDS Division ensuring that CMSA LANT's planning operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements as it pertains to the proper utilization of mission distribution.
  • You will advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
  • You will develop, modify, and/or interpret performance standards.
  • You will hear and resolve employee complaints and refers serious unresolved complaints to higher level management.
  • You will support the agency's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program through allocation of personnel to participate in community outreach and recruitment programs, ensures full cooperation of employees with EEO office officials.
  • You will coordinate with Combat Operations Divisions at CCDR AOCs worldwide to establish airspace control measures to facilitate safe and efficient flight corridors through coalition airspace.
  • You will coordinate with planning agencies throughout the DoD to ensure proper weapons to target pairing and strike package sequencing.
  • You will provide technical expertise to support Program Management Activity (PMA) weapon system development efforts.
  • You will research, interpret, analyze, and apply broad policies and programs. Develops and influences long-term DoD strategies, plans, and services supporting the effective and efficient use of the Tomahawk and HSW.
  • You will attend mission planning conferences to provide TLAM and HSW capabilities expertise and collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure efficiency of fires, economy of force, and effective weapon to target pairing.
  • You will prepare and present oral briefings, appropriate staff papers, and other formal or informal staff documents stemming from observations during the evaluation.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Execution of a SCI Non- Disclosure agreement is required and a satisfactory polygraph maybe required on a recurring basis.
  • This position is designated as Key in accordance with 32 CFR, Part 44 and DoD Directive 1200.7. In the event of a crisis, war, or mobilization, the incumbent must continue to perform the duties to support mission requirements.
Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1. Applying knowledge pertaining to Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) and Hypersonic Weapons (HSW) weapon system mission planning, distribution and execution processes and procedures and of weapon systems complimentary to TLAM and HSW are sufficient to effectively develop hypotheses, theories, collaborate, integrate, adapt, influence and significantly impact the operational plans and strategic policy decisions supporting POTUS, SECWAR, and the supported Joint Task Force or Combatant Commanders.
2. Applying knowledge of kinetic and non-kinetic threats to TLAM and HSW sufficient to apply and evaluate and address established, as well as theoretical, risk to current and projected operational areas of interest.
3. Applying knowledge of current and future designs of Tomahawk Command and Control System Architecture related to navigation and geospatial data processes associated with TLAM and HSW planning necessary to analyze and integrate current and evolving geospatial intelligence and multiple intelligence technologies and solutions into the mission planning process as well as the weapon systems configuration management roadmap.
4. Applying knowledge of standalone and enterprise navigation, imagery, and geospatial data systems, and understanding of complex data technologies and related computer architectures supporting TLAM mission planning sufficient to meet or exceed command mission planning production goals as well as to mitigate external systems and services support upgrades and outages.
5. Applying knowledge of quantitative and qualitative techniques and methodologies sufficient to analyze complex plans, strike rehearsals, and exercise scenarios; articulate observations and findings; and implement solutions to enhance overall mission/combat readiness.
