Job Description

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Day Time Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns requiring follow-up.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor records, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site protocols for restricted and controlled areas.
• Support reporting and recordkeeping by completing incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and by sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or the client site team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
