****This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI)****
***Because an active DoD clearance is required, U.S. Citizenship is required***
Our client, with multiple work locations across the U.S., is currently in need of a Secret or higher cleared Sr VMware Consultant for a direct hire.
The consultant will work onsite at one of multiple Government customers in support of VMware VCF suite of product deployments across the US. The team will consist of 6 team members, working alongside a Architect and Staff Consultant to deploy and optimize VCF at each site. The consultant will go onsite, analyze the environment and work with the team to come up with a plan for the customer to best utilize their new VCF environment. If consultants are not near an a customer base that can support onsite work, travel expenses will be provided to get there on a weekly basis.
Required Skills:
- Active DoD Secret or higher clearance
- Ability to work onsite at U.S. Army bases.
- Consultants may have a local base to work out of our a travel budget($2500 per week) to get them to one on a weekly basis
- Experience deploying VMware VCF OR the product suite as separates and the ability to obtain VCF certification in the 3 months prior to starting the project
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- This is a role that can sit ANYWHERE in the US. Their Pods will be regionally aligned across the country.
- The Pods will consists of 5 Sr. Consultants and 1 Vmware/Broadcomm SME provided directly from Broadcomm.
- Travel will be as follows: Each pod will be assigned an army base for 6 weeks. 1-2 of those weeks will be travel to that regional site to conduct the deployment for any physical/on prem work. After that, the remaining month will be work from home.
Top Skills' Details:
1. Will need minimum Secret clearance and IAT Level II certification
2.NEED to have experience being a part of OR ideally deploying Vmware's VCF(Virtual Cloud Foundation) suite of products- Nsxt,, vsan, vsphere, v automation, aria, etc.
